Brand expert: I believe in the Øresund region
World famous brand expert John Williamson from Wolff Olins recently participated in a conference in Copenhagen about the Øresund region. He expressed great optimism about the project.
- The Øresund region is a unique idea. That's the main thing. I'm optimistic about the possibilities of creating a durable brand for the region, said John Williamson to Sydsvenska Affärer.
Williamson has, among other things, helped to create brands such as Orange, Unilever and General Electric. He is also the mind behind the Øresund regions international brand: Øresund the Human Capital.
So far, the region is not high ranking in recognition in the rest of the world. Much work is left to be done there according to Williamson. But considering the high status of the region it should be a pleasant project to take on.
